topic: a super hero rescues someone from a burning building

target audience: superhero and comic book fans as well as young children in general

color scheme: light blue and glay back ground with the superhero being classic red and blue. Bad people will be red and orange

reason: i choose to do this topic because superheros are interesting and everybody likes a feel good story and someone saving the day

-graphic – as many frames as your animation

-movie clip – 1 frame

-button – something interactive to click on

Ctrl 1,2,3, etc. – zoom level

lock layers so you dont accidentally mess up a layer

red line is the play head

scrub the play head – move the red line back and forth to view animation

enter- test movie

key frame – dot filled in – content in that frame

blank key frame- dot not filled in -

frame – no dot at all

f5 inserts content for a sequence, rectangle in frame

right click -> remove frames – to get rid of unwanted frames

making symbols – start with lower case symbols, cant have spaces, no special characters, meaningful name

vector graphics

vector- made up of lines, use mechanical formula

-to draw a square you need side lengths and one point

-they are resolution independant

-graphics in flash are vector graphics

bitmap graphics – map of different colored pixels that make up an image

resolution dependant

file names

jpg – joing photographic export group

-used for photos for the web

png – portable network graphics

-images for the web that require transparancy support

giff – graphics interchange file format

-giff animations, basic art
